KidStuf/FX

NOW IN ITS 5th SEASON AT Forest Grove, KIDstuf/FX is the most fun you can have on a Sunday morning! A place where parents and kids come together in a shared experience.
Bringing moms and dads and kids from kindergarten through 6th grade together before our morning service, KIDstuf is an extension of everything we do to minister to families. Using comedy, sketches, zany situations, great music, and Biblical truths, KIDstuf is full of laughs, fun, and great moments. But it isn’t really for the kids (but don’t tell them that). It’s really for the parents, because it helps them connect to what their children learn in UpStreet and Noah’s Ark 2X2.
Sunday Morning at 10:00 am – 10:45 am
Value Driven – where character and faith are taught by emphasizing a monthly value
User Friendly – where your friends will thank you for bringing them
Creatively Wired- where video, lights, sound, and drama are used to make a lasting impression
Family Centered – where parents and kids spend quality time together
Kid Focused – where learning is fun and relevant for elementary age kids
Volunteer Fueled – where everyone can participate and get connected
KidStuf is …A 45-minute weekly program that uses music, drama, and storytelling to entertain and inspire.

The Cast presents a valid, credible problem within the world of the characters. This problem focuses on the virtue and specifically deals with the Bible focus (and bottom line) of that particular day. Generally, an intro sketc sets up the problem. By using eleven basic character types and a few cameo characters, the imaginations of the kids and adults are engaged. The sketch tries to blend broad humor with some serious subjects to make essential points without being heavy-handed. At least one character will stand out as the sympathetic protagonist-the one who will learn how to apply the value in an essential way.
